Jergens Rebrand

The Jergens rebrand project focuses on the redesign of the Jergens logo, aiming to update it to reflect the brands trusted heritage with a wholesome family feel. This initiative seeks to breathe new life into the Jergens brand, aligning it with the evolving needs and expectations of the modern consumer.

Embracing Evolution

Given Jergens' longstanding presence and rich heritage, we aimed to honour the brand's legacy while embracing its evolution from a predominantly beauty-focused identity to a more inclusive family-oriented one. This involved retaining elements of the current brand symbol while integrating new elements that resonate with the brand's current characteristics.

I wanted to create a symbol that included the J as well as elements that represent love and connection. Below are some examples that show the J in an expressive form combined within a heart or infinity loop.

A symbol of love and connection

Focusing on symbols of love and connection, the logo explore incorporated both abstract and literal elements. The preferred choice was the 'J' with a heart and circle, highlighting the Jergens brand while conveying unity
and affection

The outcome

The Jergens brand team is currently still reviewing the project. Given the project’s large scale and importance, the team is committed to a thorough, thoughtful evaluation, ensuring every detail meets their standards before moving forward.
